 The Otocolobe manul, also known as Pallas's cat, is a small wild cat with long, dense light gray fur, and rounded ears set low on the sides of the head [1]. It measures between 46 and 65 cm in length, with a bushy tail 21 to 31 cm long [1].



The manul cat is also known by different names in different languages, such as "Dromba" in Tibetan, "Gato de Pallas" or "Gato manul" in Spanish, "Gorbe-ye-Palas" in Persian, "Manul" in English, "Manul" in Mongolian and "Sabanshy" in Kazakh [2].



It is a less studied species with unknown biogeography and phylogenetic structure over a large but isolated range from the Caucasus to eastern China .
